Interesting 50 day project. Actually the first time I’ve ever done anything for a hotel during a major renovation before. If you want to know the gory details of working in this kind of atmosphere, give me a call sometime. It would be an interesting conversation. Regardless, the finish in the Reception area turned out to be a fabulous burnt orange Venetian Plaster with a Copper Pearlescent wax. The 135’ Grand Wall in the restaurant was a custom texture topped with a custom metallic with sparkles. The three portals, each over 20’h, were finished in a white Venetian with a neutral wax. You’ve got to ask me about Carlos, who helped me when Mickie got sick from all of the contaminants in the air. Go ahead, ask me about his tattoo.
